Main Sequence
The main sequence is the stage when the star is at the point of shining or being seen. It is when the star is producing heat and light, consuming hydrogen. The main sequence is when there is a nuclear fusion of the hydrogen atoms causing the heat and light energy to be immersed. This type of star can go up to 10-20 million ˚C or 3600032.36˚F in temperature. The main sequence stars size can go up to 1 392000km in diameter. 9 out of 10 stars that can be seen in the sky are main sequence stars including our own Sun. Main sequence stars can be a small star, mainstream star and large star. The earth’s sun or star is classified as one of the mainstream stars. After the main sequence stage the star can form two other kinds of star. The average star will evolve into a red giant star however the massive star will evolve into the super red giant star.
